Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR formally known as Periodic Testing and Inspection).

It is a regulatory requirement to carry out regular fixed wire testing to all of your domestic, commercial and industrial installations within your stock.
It is essential that an EICR report is carried out by a professional, experienced and capable team with the primary objective of continued safety.
At EMI Services Ltd we will:
• Carry out in depth visual and physical tests on your installations in accordance with BS 7671 and provide a comprehensive report upon its conclusion.
• Report any damage, defects or wear and tear that are detected during the inspection.
Our commitment is to assist you in ensuring compliance with current regulations by:
• Provide “peace of mind” through ensuring that you as a client are not exposed to the risk of a dangerous electrical occurrence on site.
• Safeguarding your business, employees and the public by identifying immediate/potential electrical problems and providing a rapid response to repairs and rectifications.

Emergency Lighting Periodic Inspection Report

Emergency Lighting is often overlooked and sits in the back ground until it is called upon to provide additional safety to the buildings occupants in the event of dangerous occurrence.
As with fixed wire testing it is a regulatory requirement to carry out annual testing and inspection of the existing emergency lighting system.
At EMI Services Ltd we will:
• Carry out a 3 hour “power down” of the buildings existing emergency lighting system.
• Inspect all luminaires before, during and after the test cycle and ensure all luminaires are present, correctly functioning and clean.
• Monitor and report on the battery charging functions of each unit.
• Report any defects detected during the annual inspection and provide a rapid response to repairs and rectifications.
• Offer any advice and provide rectification quotations for any improvements or alterations that are required to meet the buildings current layout and use.
• Issue a certificate on completion of the annual inspection and provide asset log information of the current emergency lighting system.

Remedial Works

Unlike many electrical testing specialist companies EMI Services Ltd prides itself in delivering a quality repair and maintenance package designed to meet your individual electrical needs.
Our national coverage of diversely skilled and professional electrical engineers and extensive network of electrical suppliers means we are well equipped to deal with every eventuality including:
• Emergency response to client requests for repairs.
• Completion of planned preventative maintenance on client request through devising programmes of works to meet client deadlines and specifications.
• Carrying repairs and rectifications from identified code defects from our own EICR and Emergency Lighting testing.
• Providing quotations and repairs upon request from clients for EICR repairs based upon tests carried out by another contractor.
• Providing quotations and repairs upon request from clients for Emergency Lighting repairs based on tests carried out by another contractor.
• Provide quotations for repairs and maintenance from clients for Electrical Tests of Petrol Station Forecourts by another contractor through use of our specially qualified Comp EX trained engineers.

Annual Electrical Testing of Petrol Station Forecourts

It is a regulatory requirement to carry out regular fixed wire testing to all Petrol Station Forecourts within your stock and ensure they are well maintained throughout their lifetime.
Our team of dedicated Comp EX trained engineers are skilled and equipped to ensure we work to the highest standards to maintain continued safety on your sites.
